<DIV>Yea, is Mark E. aware that every email he posts on the
<STRONG>Groop</STRONG> are at the same time posted on Google (regular
internet) anyway? Well, maybe now he is.....Hi
Mark! <IMG

src="http://cdn-cf.aol.com/se/smi/2b0000023e/16"></DIV></DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>If you type in<STRONG> "Groo News from ME"</STRONG> on the <STRONG>Google
search box,</STRONG> you can see pages of Mark's Groop "news" emails
from way back from 1999. Any random person searching for Groo-ish
news can view <STRONG>ALL</STRONG> Groop emails on there.
</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>But the Groo Message Boards have nothing to do with it since it's a
<STRONG>"Private Forum"</STRONG> (they've been private for years to ward off
"spam bots") where you have to log in and become a member. There are
maybe 20-30 active members on the forum at best (most who are part of the
Groop anyway). </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>It's actually more discreet if Mark posts "upcoming Groo news" on a
private forums versus a mass mailing Groop list (that has 300-400
members plus the "regular internet") whose messages are all stored and
viewable to the public on Google....and Yahoo too! </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I'm just pointing out that the Groo message board is a private
one and that one has to log onto whereas any Groop messages are
viewable on the Google search engine. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>You can type <STRONG>"Those Who fear Groo"</STRONG> on
<STRONG>Google</STRONG> and you <STRONG>won't</STRONG> see any news or
content of the forum turn up on Google. <STRONG>Groop</STRONG> messages
you can....</DIV>

<DIV>Hi, </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV>I am a little confused. Tell me if I'm wrong... but it has always
been my </DIV>
<DIV>impression that the"Those Who Fear Groo" Forum is intended only for
</DIV>
<DIV>Groop Members? One in the same? Same Groop Members? It requires
</DIV>
<DIV>a <EM>password</EM> to see any writings or images that members
have posted. </DIV>
<DIV>Whereas the Groop emails are open to the public - meaning that
anyone</DIV>
<DIV>who wants to - can simply do a search for "<SPAN>Groo</SPAN>"
- and then can go back </DIV>
<DIV>and see all prior email posts/digests.</DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV>I like the "TWFG" Forum because it is visual and it holds on to
prior posts and</DIV>
<DIV>images that are categorized and easy to refer back to. To me,
it is like a "home" </DIV>
<DIV>for Groop Members. Similar to Stan Sakai's "Usagi Yojimbo
Dojo."</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Am I being naive?</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Thank you for any clarification,</DIV>
