<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Hi Folks!</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>It is so cool to hear from Mark that he and Sergio
have already started work on Groo v. Conan. I'm sure it will be a
blast. The quinesential (and original) barabarian rogue hero vs. the
quitesential barbarian rogue hero parady. But when I looked at the
Dark Horse Conan forum a couple years ago when the Groo/Conan crossover first
came up seriously, I was quite surprised to find out what a bunch of snobs some
of them were with regards to Groo. </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>How in the heck can Conan comic book fans be
snobs? I mean come on. It's Conan! And it's the comic book
Conan for crying out loud. I'm a big fan of the Conan books and
stories. I own and have read every one. (See, now I'm being a
snob!) I've got my opinions on the post-Howard authors that are good and
the ones who stink. But to think that Conan stories are somehow above
a crossover with Groo is laughable. These guys take their action adventure
escapism way, way too seriously. </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>But anyway, I mentioned the reaction some of the
Conan fans had to the idea of Groo v. Conan to Sergio and his response was "I
don't care what the Conan fans think, I only care what Groo fans think."

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Just thought I'd pass that on. Take care
all,</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>PS Normally I'm in bed by now since I
normally get up at 4:00 am or so. But there has been a stinky smell
in our living room for a few days now and I was going to try to figure out
what was causing it yesterday, but the power was out half the day, so I did it
tonight after work. Crawled under the house to check for a dead animal,
checked the rafters above the living room for a dead animal. Nothing.
(Although I did find a wallet that had been under the house for about
25 years.) Took almost everything out of the living room and when i moved
the very big buffet, we realized the smell was coming up from the edge of the
floor behind the buffet. Figured there must be something nasty in the
wall. The garage is on the other side, so i cut open the wall on the
garage side. Nothing. So I went back under the house for a closer
look right where the smell seemed to be coming from. Still nothing
evident. So that's why I'm up at 11:00pm. I'm very confused. I
think it's rancid cheese dip. Or way too fresh mulch.
