  I still have my original VU Master from the 50s, in it's box too, but yours sounds like it was the original "clam shell" version which is a bit more scarce.  It took me a few years to find one at a reasonable price for my collection.  They're not totally scarce!  I hope you have kids or grand kids who might enjoy it as a collectable and not outdated plastic junk.<BR>
