Hi Folks!

I'll be at San Diego this year and I plan on buying tickets/passes/registrations/whatever-the-hell-they-call-them for my family for 2012 so we can do what we planned on doing this year next year. I'll probably have to stand in line as long as the folks wanting to see the Twilight cast, but that's better than what took place Saturday. Much as I am disgruntled with the fact that going to The Con has become a lottery for most folks, it is still an experience every comic fan should do at least once and San Diego is a great place to visit, with tons of non-Con stuff to do.

So here's the deal. IF THEY LET ME, I will buy 2012 tickets for anyone who wants me to.

I know it's tough to plan a year in advance, but for those who can and want to be in SD for the 30th anniversary of Groo, I will do what I can. All you need to do is send me the funds a little beforehand. Don't do anything now. We can take this up again in early July.

On a similar note, I think it would be really great if more Groopies started going to WonderCon in San Francisco. As Mark has noted, it's smaller, not as crowded, the tickets are cheaper, they are actually available, and Mark & Sergio are always there. I'm not sure how often Stan & Tom go. I went for the first time last year and it was great. There were some very cool panels and guests and you didn't have to wait in line for an hour to get a ticket to wait in line for an hour. I'm going this year and I hope to see Natalie & Eric and others.

And Hey! Is anyone going to Emerald City Con in a few weeks? (Wow! I'll going to 3 cons in a year. That's a record!)

Take care all, Gary G.
