ebay auctions to help raise money for Stan and Sharon. <br>Included in this round is an auction for some artwork by the late great Dougie McCoy. Dougie actually loved Usagi almost as much as he loved Groo, and I believe he would have been thrilled to have some of his art being auctioned off to help one of his favorite cartoonists. <br>What is up for auction is not one drawing by Dougie, nor two, or three, or even four.... It is a set of six individual drawings of various characters from Stan Sakai's saga of the ronin rabbit. I love all things Groo and recently decided I want to complete my collection. I am on the hunt for any Groo items ever printed and sold to the general public. I started collecting Groo when I was 13 and my father quickly became a fan as well. I remember just pacing almost between issues for the next one to arrive and being so happy when it did. My dad and I would both read it and laugh like crazy people. I lost my dad to cancer 12 years ago and have always wanted to complete my Groo quest as a kind of tribute to him. Work and kids and life caused me to lose touch with Groo but now I am on track and ready to get this done. I'm excited for this and hope to meet some good people in the process!
