[Dynagroove] Weekend review.......

Friday night found me kicking it at a friend's house knocking back a few
brews while we played with the 1's and 2's.  Saturday rolled around and the
controversy began, which party should we go to......... Perception or Unlock
the house???????  Finally we decided to hit up the smaller of the
two....perception.  We showed up around midnight and caught about an hour
Mr. Annand's set.  Nice job Ben.....good selection and tight mixing.  Next
up was Emily.  I haven't seen her play since last year at How Sweet It Is
2000, and was quite intrigued to see how she played at a smaller more
intimate party.  Unfortunately I wasn't impressed at all.  Her selection was
pretty good, but her mixing was way off.  All I could think of was, maybe
she had a few to many Hienaken's on the plane.  It didn't matter though,
because Mark E. Quark was up next.  This was the first time I had the
pleasure to actually hear him play in person, but i've listened to a few of
his mixtapes.  I really don't know what to say, but UNFUCKING
BELIEVEABLE!!!!  His selection was great, and his mixing was flawless.  I'm
trying to figure out why L.A. doesn't bring this guy out that much...he has
to be one of the best DJ's I have ever heard.  After his set I left, but i
must say dispite the little amount of people that showed up I had a really
good time.  Anyways...I'm interested in knowing how the other party turned
out, please do post some reviews......lates...phil
