wow...
sorry to hear that so few people showed up to hear jay-j.
i'm sure all of the giant rumors didn't help.
i did check out the techno madness over at hollywood athletic club for '01. 
angel alanis laid it down and colette rocked the spot for real, playing much 
harder than usual. that's a dope spot, too bad more people don't check that 
party out (especially if you like tech). it is kind of 'hollywood,' 
though...
ride the rhythm was pretty cool - a nice space, even though it was WAY 
small. the patio was cool (when police helicopters weren't shining their 
lights on us, that is), and louie was inspired as always. i was definitely 
(and pleasantly) surprised by jason bentley's set. he's always been great on 
the radio, but i had concerns about his party-rocking abilities. no worries 
there - the guy is tight and has a killer selection. props.
anyway, that's my story and i'm sticking to it...
