[Dynagroove] Weekend Review

Man am I jealous. I spent my weekend in Vegas having to listen to
nauseatingly bad DJs playing songs like "Groovejet" remixed with "Everybody
Dance Now" by C & C Music Factory. I know, it's very hard to believe, but
they actually put those two songs together. And this was at Vegas' touted
new clubs like "Rain" at the Palms, and Bellagio's new club "Light." The
only Light I'd like to bring to that club is that it's the rich person with
no Rhythm's nightclub. Truly painful experiences at both. Lest I forget to
mention that there is now a standard $20 cover at almost ALL the clubs in
Vegas now and they don't even let ladies in for free anymore, unless you're
a Nevada resident. And then of course once you get in, everyone is doing the
White Guy from Idaho shuffle, cause they learned all their dance moves from
the last Bel Biv Devoe video they saw back in '89.
People, I'm here to remind you how damn lucky we are to live in LA and have
a cornucopia of opportunities to partake in where beats are phat and the
covers are slim.
Bless you, CADE!

> This weekend was full of good talent in LA:
>
> Friday- Wax crew at freethinking.. Kasey was rockin' it outside, playing

> some really good tunes also, and the mixing was nice and smooth.

> Saturday- Stopped by Downtown to see Benjamin warming things up, this

> a quick flyer dropoff at the Joeski party we were off to see DJ Deep.
> Got there right as he was going on and stayed for the whole set. He was
