This Wednesday at ELECTRIC, Distantbeat is pleased to bring you a very
special DEEPHOUSE set by STEVE LORIA (dulce rec., bang the drum). If you
missed his set last week, now is your chance to catch this great at work.
Due to a booking conflict, BARRY WEAVER will not be playing and will join us
sometime in our April line up.
We are very excited to have Steve back and he has promised to blend some old
favorites and new deep tracks to bring it higher in our second week at
STUDIO 56. ELECTRIC resident for the evening will be JIMMY (afrocube,
distantbeat, jungleboogie) also playing highly tuned house music with his
signature funky groove.
In the outdoor, downtempo area we will have weekly residents, THEORY and
OUTER (open minds collective) along with very special live hip hop act
BUSHWALLA and the GRAND MASTER of all THAT IS PHAT. This is a two vocallist
(male/female) and one dj act that we stumbled on by accident and let me just
tell you that the voices, the rhymes are melodic and impressive and will
keep your head bobbin'. Also outside, OSCURE will be layin' down some funk
and rare groove that i know will make y'alls bootys drop.
