But, are you aware of your purpose and impact your having on the underground (which fuckin' hardly exist anymore!). Your efforts are great and should be recognized, but in my opinion are very local and quite exclusive. If your beautiful people really care about making a difference, then you should search beyond yourselves...not posting so many messages about "Dyanagroove" events, so many comments, so much rhetoric, etc. and focus on something new and unique. There is so much more out there...so much beautiful music!

"Exclusive" hmmn really. Lets see as far as the house comunity goes I think it is easier to count the people I have not booked then I have. When it comes down to it there are very few people/crews that I have not booked. In fact this summer I dedicated an entire month to other promotional teams. Even the ones who run against me. I have booked some very unknown people to some big names. fromUniting Souls to Bodyrockdjs to Mr. Annand to Aqueevee to William Yardley to Diz. I don't think you will find many other promoters who have gone as far out of their way to help some DJs out. What a lot of people seem to forget is I don't have hundreds of DJ slots open to book EVERYONE. I have to juggle. I also need to keep the crowd interested. SO I can't just book unknowns over and over again.. People want to hear some established DJs.

As for Dynagroove being a cliche.. well yeah arn't we all. Doesn't Bodyrockdj, Uniting souls, Sacred Grounds, Fresco, Golden Rule, Family, DSOF. all have there own cliche? I mean yeah some of us may bleed over into others but doesn't every scene have it's cliches?

Of course the "Dynagroove" list is going to push DYNAGROOVE events the hardest. Very simple really.

Mr. Annand has always been aware of our community and mantained a grip of class with the organization of the "Tropical" events, and much more. My regards...

I agree. I believe ben is one of the best promoters we have in this scene and I hold in high reguard. it is always a pleasure to hand out fliers with him and giggle at his wit. He also put his heart into the events and it shows.

> It seems like you Dynagroovers are all up on the House tip, like there is no other music that can make you feel the same when your out dancing! There's so much to explore you guys and gals...Drum & Bass, Phsycadelic Trance, 2-Step, Breakbeat, Acid Jazz, Techno, etc!

I do not think you really know what your talking about. Since day one Dynagroove has catered to other forms of music. Our second rooms (which are sometimes just as large as the main room) have always hosted something different. Acid Jazz - Dynagroove resident DJ Zero, Jungle - DJ Vapor and Zero, Funk and 80's - scotty coats, Reggae - kuya, Hip-hop - Mission (a live hip hop band!), zero, and scotty coats. And thats just dynagroove.. I could go one forever with free thinking and the patio! As for techno.... I suggest you come to free thinking Nov. 1 and check out Dean DeCosta's 4 hour set!

One of themost popular DJs on this list isn't only "up on the house tip" Dj Theory seems to be benifiting from thislist just fine.

Dynagroove the event has not been able to budget a second room in for about a year now. But as soon as the crowds come back it will be there.

> I live and LOVE L.A., but I've been around the world and I can't agree with this local dance (House) community as much as I do with the rest of the dance community. There's so much out there and I don't feel confident that ya'll Dynagroovers recognize it! I know some of you do (by reading your post). I must say, your quite an eclectic group of wonderful people.

What we have hear is a list that is geared toward house music. Call it a specialty list. It seems to me what you are doing is joining is the equivilant to say the "Mcdonalds" list and saying something like "I know all of you out there love your McDonalds but hey there is much more out there! In & Out, Burger King. Just free your mind!" I mean common we all know there ismore out there but this list is focused.

Don't forget this is the "Dynagroove" list and it is centered around house. Some other stuff goes through but I am sorry we deny a lot of parties that are "Progressive" or non house related. Why? Because I have tried to focus this list on house music and be an source for information. But let us not forget "Dynagroove" and the events we are involved with are TOP priority. Otherwise it wouldn't be called Dynagroove now would it!? I am sure the Tropical list works the same way.
