honestly most burners will do it pretty well.
software-wise, just get Sonic Foundry's CD Architect for the most ease-of-use. or you could actually just export to regions in sound forge without that even. the architect just takes one or 2 steps out of the entire (not too tedious anyway) process. i use roxio ez cd creator to burn. i suggest buying this, because a bad crack can really REALLY piss you off.

mac-wise, i really have no clue. i try to stay away from them as much as possible. i mean they're cute n all.... but....
