i had the BEST time at FT that i've ever had there. there was plenty of room to dance, and the music was insanely good. lamont started things off nicely--he told me he learned everything from lance and jt, and you can definitely feel that when you see him play. thomas sahs was great too--he played a few hits--dj ali you don't know, and the flip side of lawnchair g's one thing, but the BEST was hearing him bust out the answering machine! and...i don't think i've ever seen cade go off dancing like he was to thomas. boy-bands lookout! hehehe. up next was eddie spettro...to those promoters i asked to check into booking him a few months back--i hope you are getting on the stick with this because the guy is quality! he has so much fun playing--he did not want to stop. he needs a longer set than 1 hour though. ;) but overall the music that night was amazingly good. sara the birthday girl was there--hope you had the good birthday momma!

tropical on saturday: we caught the tail end of ben's set and it was his usual funky best. del costa from lisboa was up next and yes, to reiterate becky it was a low bpm in the beginning, and his style was a little bit different from what we usually hear in l.a. he played a few hits too (brett johnson's me talk pretty one day, dj ali you don't know, and then threw in some random oldies like deee-lite and george michael. jamie thinnes sounded great--i hadn't seen him before. i definitely want to see him again, because we had to leave before it was over. many thanks to tropical--both the promoters and the partygoes who support it. it's great to see so many good people come together to enjoy good music. :)

did anyone go to mark farina at deep last night?

twister tonight folks!
