ok, better late than never. tropical was very cool.  del costa was fab, he played good music, not just "house."  i like that alot. he was definitely a bit mellow to start but brought it back nicely....except...i like that he was mellow to start. maybe it wasn't the best time for it but in general, it's a good thing to hear different styles than what we are used to in LA. good thing we've got tropical to bring in fresh talent.  what i heard of jamie's set was nice...he came right on with his signature sound and had everyone jammin right away. i wish i could have heard ben's set, the new CD is deliciously deep, thanx ben :)

what i caught of spettro at free thinking of friday was pretty sweet. i danced. happy belated b-day sara, i never saw you there :)  

OH...did any of you go to the afterhours that night where jordan, theory, & eddie played?  that party jammed like i haven't seen in a loooooooong time.  nice one boys, can't wait for the next one ;) until next time... cheers, a.

started out at a pretty leisurely pace, low bpm, the crowd was a mite thin and i think trying their best to whoop it up with all the mellow sounds...
tres deep, VERY few vocals (except for a few 80's covers peppering the mix) then he brought it up, and the crowd got thick, i danced and danced and got so hot.
didn't want to leave when the mr. jamie thinnes got up to rock it...i could tell that was only going to be wonderful...lucas tore me away, and i went to sleep in a happy little puddle of me.
VERY fun night. thanks for the excercise. :)
