Summer time is coming and I'm really trying to plan a trip to NY. I've never been so I'm pretty clueless on where to stay (midtown, manhattan, Westside, near jfk, etc). I want to be sure to hear some house while I'm there too. I don't plan on renting a car, nor paying a grip for a taxi so I could use some help from any of you who's from or been there a few times.
