[Dynagroove] Last night was HARD!

A written account of the events of this morning:

Sara: "Yo, yo, yo, yo, yo Cade, yo Cade. Wake up man, wake up. What's
wrong with you man?"
Cade: "Yo, I had a mother fuckin' dream, man."
Sara: "What the fuck was the dream about, G?"
Cade: "I dreamed that I was -hard-."

Ok, none of that was atcually said but I'll use and chance I get to make
reference to a Black Sheep track. ("Yo, who the fuck used my
toofbrush?!!")

It is good to be back in LA. I have been on the east coast for the past 2
weeks in miserable weather under devastating circumstances. So to be
welcomed back to Cade openign for DC was good times. I personally didn't
notice the sound glitches and what have you. It seems that every time
Cade opens at the Ivar there are equipment issues of sorts. It happens to
the best, maybe they are just trying to keep Cade on his toes. I think
the phrase "X-treme DJing!!" was coined after a night at the Ivar, it is
almost like a Real World/Road Rules Gauntlet mission or like the physical
challenge on Double Dare, just minus the prime colored protective gear and
minus that bitch Veronica. But I always enjoy myself at the Ivar. I
don't enjoy the janky Non-Bombay gin and tonics for $8, especially when
the glasses are the size of bathroom Dixie cups. But I like the straws
they use and they cut their limes to a size I find most enjoyable. Ample
bathrooms, too.

Anyway. Yea. All things considered I enjoyed meself (I intentionally
spelled it mEself b/c after entering the witness protection program, I
have been forced to speak "Pirate"). Good to see poeple.

I've been listening to Ice Cube "Death Certificate" all morning,

Sara

This fool Cade had the nerve to say:
> Last night was hard!!! No not the music. Playing was very hard. I
> arrived to my surprise there was noone playing. I was told someone would
> be playing 9:00 to 10. But no one was there DJing and a jungle CD was
> playing. I started to set up but it was way too dark so it took me a good

> I could and low and behold the table still sounded like crap. The sound
> guy came around and we swapped out tables and then that issue was fixed.
