Well kiddos,

Last night, I attempted to make my way to the Slide into 2005 party
thrown by SWAT up here in San Francisco, but found out when I arrived
around 11:30 that the fire martial was going party to party shutting
anything down they could justify. It was truly unfortunate for me, as
I had spent my day working my way up the 5 in preparation for the
evening to be, pot of gold at the other side of the Bay Bridge in
mind.

It didn't play out the way I had anticipated, though, and I ended up
on a train ride of a series of the San Francisco "underground" house
scene-- from hippie commune to some abandoned apartment with a few
stops inbetween. I knew it was time to go home when I woke up against
a wall with my jacket on my head to some French guy rubbing my leg,
"Baby, you're so cute." Not able to immediately recognize as to
whether or not he had justification in calling me baby, I decided that
that was my cue to get a cab home.

But there is a moral to the story, and if you're not busy tonight, and
you're feeling the super ambitious spirit that one must feel to be
motiviated by good talent at good prices thrown by good people in San
Francisco... then you should most definitely be aware that TONIGHT...
Q-Burns + Honey Dijon, and all of the rest of the great line-up that
was compiled for the party of last evening that didn't happen...
TONIGHT! The ticket which was a $40 door charge will become $10. As I
saw the disappointment in Dax's eyes last night, I guess I'm on some
kind of a word-spreading mission to mobilize some LA folk. If you've
never partied in San Francisco and found yourself saying, "wow,
there's just something about it up here...", mesathinks this isn't one
to miss.
