[Dynagroove] question - what is reasonable?

Yo Pat!!! What's up man? been a while....

I personally promise my mailing list an average of 1 e-mail a week and I
keep that promise. Of course, sometimes, you have to send another e-mail
because something came up, or there is some sort of deadline for buying tix or
something like that you want to remind people about, but that's a rarity and it
is obvious to the reader why there was a need to re-send. From what I can
tell, my subscribers seem to appreciate the one a week limit.

As a promoter, being on several list, I just assume I'm going to get
bombarded, so I force myself not to be bothered by the inordinate quantity of same
event e-mail. On the other hand, I do worry about others who don't follow
that same philosophy of courtesy. There could be a nefarious reason behind
that: by drowning a shared mailing list (like dynagroove) with repetitive
e-mails, they hope that the members will gloss over or even delete the 1 e-mail
about the party that competes with theirs....but then that could just be me,
being skeptical and shit...been following that Karl Rove story way too closely I
guess...haha.

Take care. Hope to see you sometime soon brotha, it's been too long!!

Hey Pat....

I opened an email account that I use for those list only...It does get
annoying but I just "star" events of interest and archive or delete
the rest...

but to answer the question....one a week is enough...

BTW- I'll send you a GMAIL invite

Joy
