why is everybody always bitching and moaning about derrick carter not
coming to la? i don't get it. rumor has it that he doesn't like coming
here, and when he does, he plays a less than spectacular set. i agree with
joey, why waste our $$ if you aren't going to come and have a good time?

there are so many great djs that we are privy to because we are a major
city and we have *amazing* local talent here...i don't think anyone who
attended the gravy new year's party would argue that it was a bad time,
and it was just heather and local djs.  i've heard very few people say
that they had a bad time at dynagroove and, usually the line-up is just
diz and local djs.

i'll take james curd rocking it out and obviously having a blast at an
ultragroove with people who are clearly feelin' his vibe while he plays
with the likes of the bodyrock djs, joeshua and cade over derrick carter,
who doesn't want to be here and is clearly not feeling it, anyday. (that
was a long run on sentence....)
