Dear Friends,
It is with great pleasure and excitement that I give you the second 
installment of
"Big Bang @ Space Island" taking place Saturday September 30th 2006.
If you made it to the first one than I imagine you will be making it back. 
This place has to be one of the sickest private event lofts in the world. I 
have never seen such a decked out place. Come sit on the pirate ship and 
watch the trapeze show. Mushie's would probably be a lot of fun here. The 
place is amazing. I was absolutely delighted that we were able to pack the 
place and have such a thick vibe with all local dj's. I can only anticipate 
this one being even bigger and well..bangier.

This time we are very lucky to be able to bring you Slum Science out of the 
U.K. and their first ever L.A. appearance. These three guys have there 
tracks being played all over the world by the likes of Mark Farina, Heather, 
Diz and djs along those lines. One of their latest releases was on Heathers 
Label "Black Cherry." Slum SCience will be getting on the decks around 
midnight and playing for 3 or 4 hours. Bday boy Dennis the Menace from Strut 
will be opening and I will be closing it out. On the Patio we will have a 
Jelly Roll mixture of low tempo and eclectic music with djs Tony Watson, 
Aztec Sol, Zack Hill and Jose Marquez.

I truly hope that for those of you who are not sure about checking out djs 
you've never heard, that you will trust that we are working hard to bring 
you what you should experience. This event has the potential to be a very 
memorable night indeed. This night is dedicated to my long time friend and 
now lover and best friend Kelly and to all she has been through in the 
pursuit of happiness in this crazy world. So without further ado...

Hailing from Huddersfield England, Slum Science consists of Eddie
Leader, Danny White and DJ Rucky. These 3 guys have been tearing up the
underground House scene for the last couple of years. With releases on
respected House labels such as Greenhouse, Jackin’ Tracks, Black Cherry
and their own label, Hudd Trax, Slum Science has continued to move
crowds with their own style of twisted, jazzy house. Don’t miss these
guys as they make their first L.A appearance!
