[Dynagroove] why Daft Punk?

I really resisted replying to your first jackass post. But I got to say
something now.
You come on here and slag everyone for their musical taste and wanting to go
to Daft Punk, and then when everyone gave you a pretty good reason why they
like Daft Punk and went to the show. And then you go and backpedal and give
Daft Punk and their fans a backhanded compliment by attributing it to
nostalgia. Really nice. Good work.
I went to the Daft Punk show, I fucking love those guys, I like all sorts of
different music - from old jazz to orchestra music to minimal techno to
disco house all the way to punk music. I remember hearing their tracks way
back in the 90s and hearing that shit always put a smile on my face. It's
feel good music that actually has a bit of complexity that you'd listen to
if you weren't being such a punk about it. On top of that, they've grown as
artists and taken their music in different directions as the times changed.
What more can you ask for? If it doesn't resonate with you, then go bugger
off.
Take your intellectual piss snobbery elsewhere. I'd rather go listen to
Discovery for the nth time.
