"groop@groo.com" is the new and exciting email
address for the mailing list. everyone is sup-
posed to be using this email address.

i think "groo-l@hmc.edu" used to be the old
email address for the mailing list. the mail-
ing list moved to a different server (with a
different url). at this time, the email ad-
dress was changed. someone must have thought
it was a good idea (which it was) to carry
over the same name "groo-l". but, there seems
to be some mistake somewhere. "groo-l@groop.com"
should've been made equivalent to "groop@groo.com".

"groo@groo.com" should be the list master,
which is not me. :)

see you.

Hi Eric,
This is very strange. My chess post was not in the archive, which we'd
expect as I sent it to "groo-l@groo.com" and not "groop@groo.com". I
checked groop@groo.com and I am listed as a subscriber but I don't reccall
seeing any of the messages I see in the archive. Perhaps Groo has been at
work here. :-(
What is groo-l@groo.com used for and what is groo@groo.com for? I'm
confused.
