Okay... I do have a new ebay gripe.... no.. wait... I have two!!!!
Gripe #1 - http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=493495461
Someone please tell my why this clown is charging $10 for S&H on something
that you could mail in a stiff manilla envelope for a little over a buck?
People, if you're not aware of it, many ebay sellers do in fact charge an
stupid amount for S&H. Do you realize this freak is going to make an extra
$6.80 because of the S&H charges he claims!?!? I purchase a lot of comic
books on ebay... mostly 'readers'. I'll get sometimes 20 or 30 books in a
bundle. Everytime, I'll tell the sender, "Please just ship it book rate.
It's cheaper and I don't mind the few extra mailing days." Am I a
cheapskate. I don't think so... I just can't come to terms to pay some one
$13 to mail $3 worth of goods. (Except for Nate.. because he hooks me up
with the coffee milk... to which I'm now an addict and so is my girlfriend)
Gripe #2 - People that sell URL's on ebay. I have one word for these: BIG
TIME LOSERS! (well, maybe more than one word)
I play a lot of paintball on my spare time and I pick up parts on ebay for
much cheaper than I'd pay in a store. I'm noticing a new trend now and I've
even read a little bit about it. Let's say a paintball gun costs $1000
normally. So, the ebay seller is selling the 'location' of a URL where you
can get this gun for $800. You're saving yourself a nice $200.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA.... don't fall victim to these money making scams!
That's my two cents for the month.
