Mark has made it VERY clear that no Groo cartoon will be produced that does
not give He & Sergio complete creative control and meet their standards for
production quality.  Which is probably the main reason no Groo cartoon has
been produced thus far.  Alas, this is for the best.  No Groo cartoon is
better than a compromised Groo cartoon, as your examples prove.  -Gary G.
