If I'm not wrong, during an interview with Men's review magazine (a Malaysian
Magazine) during his visit to Malaysia in 1997, Sergio sait that the story
was based on Malaysia - and its history (Gary, check it out as you got the
original magazine) where it was a beautiful and peaceful place, and later,
those european powers came and start introducing those new things.... and
the changes starts. (anyway, also in that interview, Sergio said that Groo
comic is a satire type comic).
