Living in New York, I've had my fair share of
random celebrity encounters, and the way I
handle them is to give a quick polite greeting
and go about my business in such a way as not
to draw undue attention to them. Those who
want to be recognized are gratified, those
who don't appreciate the privacy.
Whenever I hear of someone encountering a
celebrity whom they say is an @#$%&*!,
further questioning usually shows the fan
was being invasive.
