[Groop]question

Here's the usual story.  I was going through my
mother's attic the other day and found two Groo comics
I had from when I was a kid.  The first is the Groo
Special and the second is Groo #1 from the Marvel
series, both from '85 I think.  They're in near mint
and both are autographed with sketches.  I saw the
list prices on the site.  Does an autograph increase
the value?  I've actually heard sometimes it decreases
it.  Not really looking to sell, just more curious
what they'd go for.  Thanks for any responses.
