Well, if there were a buck to be made from it, you'd probably find a Russian
version.
Last fall, I had an opportunity to meet author Robert Jordan, and a friend
had brought a supposed Russian first edition of one of his bestsellers for
his signature. Mr. Jordan had never seen, much less heard of such an
animal, nor was he particularly surprised. He related that copyright laws
were, well, not particularly respected there..
Perhaps if Gary offered an Olympic skating medal, some Russian Groos might
mysteriously appear...
