> 1) Always RESPECT the other person's opinions, even if you do not agree with them. There's absolutely no point in debating with someone you don't show respect for.
> 2) Always keep in mind that the media always has some degree of bias (from small to large) on how issues are reported, so don't be quick to form a strong opinion or accusation without examining multiple sources and sides on the issue. The 'truth' is usually somewhere in between.

Yes.. I agreed (r).. we should discuss it with tolerance and open minded
about the news.. yes.. every news publications has its own agenda.. agenda of their political master or their owner for example... in malaysia many mainstream political parties own nearly all mainstream newspaper directly or indirectly... which resulting all news and article reported
printed in the newspaper is on the side of the ruling party... all news/article about the opposition is to discredit them by wrong reporting or twisting the news so that the opposition will looks bad to the people.. that's why some opposition's owned newspaper which is only for
members is sold secretly or publicly to the public... if cought they will have their permit rebuked or get a warning latter.. and that's why some website supporting the opposition had very high hits like www.freeanwar.com or www.malaysiakini.com maybe you can go there to read some
alternative news about malaysia.. for me I read both media so that I get a balance information...

> >From the multitude of posts I've read over the past while, these two points have been missed at one point or another by most people (on both sides of the debate). When our heart wants to speak out, it's hard to keep in mind that the world is not always black and white.

yes... the grey area is larger than the white or the black area....

> Well, except when it comes to the statement "Groo is the Best."

nobody can argue about that...
