[Groop]Comic con

Sergio will be at the convention all four days as far as I know. He spends
at least half the time at his table and the other half is spent on panels,
at a "special appearance" at the Dark Horse booth, meeting with publishers,
and visiting friends. When he's at the table there are anywhere from 1 to
20 or so people. He talks to everyone (in Spanish or English), signs
things, draws little pictures on the comics and books he sells and generally
is the most charming, cordial, funny, accommadating guy you've ever met.
He's usually next to Scott Shaw!. He does the same thing when he is
scheduled at the Dark Horse booth, but the line is longer.

I guess the "perk" we get from identifying ourselves as Groop members is
that Sergio may be even nicer towards us (if that's possible) Or maybe it's
just the recognition on his part that we are more deranged than the average
fan. Also he knows that any little sketches he does for us won't end up on
ebay.

At least that's my experience at the last four con.

Take care -Gary G.

my schedual. Do groo group members get a special session with him or
anything, or do we wait in line for autographs like everyone else?
