ME: Never wrote a piece on Jack Benny.  I know lots of stories but
they're all second-hand, either from books or things that were told to
me by friends of his, such as George Burns.  It's just one of those
things I never got around to doing and, now that I'm not doing the
weekly columns, I may not.
