Joe and anyone else who may care,
If a vote is needed, instead of using common sense, so be it. Off Topic
discussions like MAD Magazine, well meaning jokes, short comments about
whatever, etc.are cool because they are what everyone probably would like to
read about anyway even if Groo isn't part of it. If not, they are harmless
things that can be deleted. However, when a person without spiritual
beliefs starts to bash my religion (Christianity) on a comic book list, I
personally have a difficult time staying quiet. Debates about real world
politiccs, religion, planned parent hood, etc. are best left to other areas
because they can take up an awful lot of space. Not that the Groo list
doesn't care about these things, but, theTopics like this are really good at
starting email "flame wars" because there are many differnt opinions and
beliefs... An unspoken rule on most email lists is to stay away from topics
with lots of debate ammunition that have very little to do with the main
topic.
Just my humble opinion,
Roland

donīt mind them. And if everyone else is having a say, they so shall I. If
you have a problem with that Roland- take it up with the list admins and
maybe all Groop members can vote on if we should ban OT discussions.
>
>As for you comment- Roland, while I am not a believer myself, I didnīt mean
anything about religion being good or bad. My point was that SOME PEOPLE
MISUSE THEM- perverting a set of peaceful beliefs to govern their own
interests. These are the terrorists, fascists and oppressors of democracy
and freedom of the world. The people that donīt want YOU to have an opinion
or think for yourself, but blindly do as they say. The people that want to
kill you because donīt agree with them.

>On a cheerier note. My congrats to the Groo team for a fine set of PVC
figures!
