You mean this one?
http://www.baysideinn.com/
online reservation gives $139/day rate for one room, two adults right now
for next July.
I remember not so many years ago the Clarion was around $70 a night. Hotels
are sure getting pricey for the Con.
At the Con talk back this year the Con Committee members suggested fans seek
rates outside the official Con hotel system. They said sometimes the quotes
you get are better than what the Con is told when they ask Hotels for rates
to be part of the Con reservation system.
Don't forget if you have a trolley station near your hotel you have a mass
transit connection to the Convention Center (although in some cases you'll
need to transfer from one route to another at American Station).

P.S. - the Con volunteer who handled the room the Groo panel was held in
said after it was over it was one of his favorite panels to handle each
year. I guess we have a reputation of being a good crowd!
