[Groop]Groo's Swords

Nate and a couple others are the experts in this area. All I know is what
I've gleamed from Usagi Yojimbo. And I believe the actual person who
provided Stan the inspiration for UY used a two katana style of fighting,
although I couyld be wrong on this. Nate?

But Groo isn't a samurai. I always assumed the reason Sergio had Groo use
katana is because they are considered the pinnacle of sword technology.
Sergio does amazing amounts of research so I have no doubt he knew this. He
probably also knew about the guy who inspired UY (I could look up his name,
but I'm lazy) and so he knew fighting with two katanas was not unheard of,
although rare and unorthodox. Again, I'm a little shaky on this part, but I
know Nate isn't and neither is Sergio.

Anywho, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. -Gary "cuts himself

Uh....Gary, not to step on your Knowledge Of All Things Groo, but isnīt one
of the swords a Wakizashi? Samurai had three blades- Katana, Wakizashi and
Tanto, if I remember correctly.
