[Groop]Groo's Swords

GROO carries two katana.

Typically, samurai carried a katana and wakizashi (short sword). The tanto
was optionally carried.

But GROO isn't a samurai. :)

To my knowledge, the only documented real life case where a samurai
effectively (emphasis on effectively) used two katana, is Miyamoto Musashi,
the great swordsman. There are plenty of accounts of samurai picking up a
second katana in the midst of battle, but Musashi actually spent time
developing a methodology of two-katana swordsmanship.
