Okay, let's see how much of this my slow mind can
dredge up...

If I remember correctly (IIRC - I just learned this
one!), Gary found someone in Europe(England? Was it
YOU, Mark Brown!!!???) who was selling something on
ebay that he wasn't supposed to, something that was a
copyright infringement or something like that, and
fired off an email to the guy explaining why it was a
Bad Thing. 

We then all started fantasizing various extreme
measures of attack, such as Gary's Intercontinental
Chocolate Cheesedip Missiles and various forms of
attacking people with mulch. 

Someone then got the idea of organizing us into
Regional Fighting Units, and gave us all ranks. IIRC,
Ruben was Commander of the Groo Navy, since he was far
away from any Ocean and would thus not got wet when
the ships all sunk, I was some sort of commander of
armed forces NorthEast US, Glorko was a commander of
armed forces SouthWest US, I think Nate was a General,
former Groopie Unirabbit set herself up as Queen of
Southern Florida, gee, I forget what everybody's
various ranks were. It was all rather amusing at the
time. 

I can't even properly guess at the year all this went
down, and am not sure if any of this is archived. I'll
troll the archives a bit and see if I can dig up any
concrete info, and get back to you all!
