Okay, I've searched the two sets of Groop Archives and
worn my GOOGLE finger to a nub. Here is what I
learned:

1) There appears to be no Groop Archives dealing with
the period in question, in fact no archives at all
between January 1997 and April 2000!

2) Tracy’s actual title, which she continued to use
way after the joke wore thin, was “Unirabbit, Queen of
Florida, Empress of Outer Space, and Seneschal of the
Bermuda Triangle”

3) If you GOOGLE for GROOP, you find a lot of people
who don’t know how to spell “group”, plus some people
whose name is Groop, such as:

Dr. Richard E. Groop http://www.crs.msu.edu/groop/

Monica Groop
http://virtual.finland.fi/finfo/english/groop.html

Monica Groop is apparently an opera singer from
Helsinki. Here's a quote from Ms. Groop's site:

"The past few years have seen the impressive emergence
of the mezzos. In the wake of Cecilia Bartoli, a
number of others are reaching for superstardom, among
them Olga Borodina, Vesselina Kasarova, Jennifer
Larmore - and Monica Groop."

4) My memory is even worse than I thought it was.
5) I want a cookie.
