Hmm, I don't think I can let you claim that one without at least
questioning it - I'm reasonably sure I was on the Groop before you...

I definitely joined in 1995 - one of the first things I did when I got
to university (March 1995) and got online was to look up Groo, which
led me to Josh's website (this might have actually been before it was
www.groo.com even), which led me to email Josh for some reason, which
led him to reply to me saying he'd set up a Groo mailing list and
would I like to join... (From memory the very first Groop email I got
was from Lia, asking how many of the members of the Groop were female
- at the time I think it was only one or two at the most.)
