[Groop] Cards question

Hi Folks!

Ok, a little input from work about the cards:

I think a 1:12 ratio is accurate, an average of 3 IG cards per box. I
opened a box once with only one. I have no idea why they claimed 1:7.
Maybe they were just bad at math.

I also have no idea how many cards were made. Sergio still has unopened
boxes, which he now sells for $125, which is at least close to market price.

As I mention every once in a while for the sake of new Groopies, it's fun to
pull a signed card or two from a box as you search unsuccessfully for that
last IG card or (Ha!) a Sketch card, but it's not a card of any special
value. This is because they are indistinguishable from cards Sergio has
signed at conventions. So the value is that YOU know you pulled it from a
pack.

We told a number of folks about the Great Groo Card Exchange, so hopefully
Mark will get some doubles to add to his reserve.

Back to work. More about other stuff later. -Gary G.

UPDATE [minor]
I finished the box I was opening, and then went back through all the cards a
little slower and found one signed (#40), and another signed (#91 - Sirenas!
:) ) that I had already packed away (it was easier once i knew what i was
looking for. I probably put it away fast before the kids saw it ;) )
Still, 2 signed in 1200 or so is behind the odds.
Anyone have an idea of the little suckers [all cards - the box claims there
were 500 signed]were printed, in total? Anyone?
