Ill agree with you on this one for sure Dieter.  I don't think I've 
heard worse than what they did to the voices on the Asterix movies.  I 
always thought of Obelix as somewhat slow of  mind, but they pushed him 
down to a sub-moron level approaching fungus in intelligence.   And 
Asterix, the cunning and fearless warrior, was reduced to Jiminy 
Cricket.  A travesty all way round.
