For those of you who don't know (I sure didn't!) "The Fairly Oddparents" is
a Nickelodeon cartoon almost as popular as SpongeBob Squarepants. It was
announced in November that a "Cine-Manga" book from Tokyopop would be
produced and be out for sale in March. But it didn't sound like anyone
outside the usual team of writers would be involved.
That's all I could find out in a few minutes. Maybe he's just writing a
story rather than drawing one. I'll try to find out more about what Sergio
was talking about. Gary "Always Something to Track Down" G.

Subject: [Groop] Sergio Aragones and "The Fairly Oddparents"
Hi Everyone,
When Don Sergio was here in Mexico (November), he was working in a short
story based on the Fox Kids Cartoon "The Fairly Oddparents". He told me that
his contribution would be ready on stores in two months. But the major comic
store in Mexico (Comicastle) told me that there is no any kind of "The
Fairly Oddparents" magazine on catalogs.
Any idea about where I can find it ?
On the other hand, Sergio was planning to have a dinner with one of his best
friends in Mexico, the stage actor Hector Ortega. There is a picture of him
on the following site (he is in a Soapopera for Children titled "Alegrijes y
Rebujos"):

Greetings from Mexico City,
