I suspect it will be a quiet one... not sure if it will be happy or not.
Even though I'm not even halfway through the TPBs yet, I check in on the Cerebus
Yahoo! group once in a while and have the overall idea of what's happening.

I saw a DVD of that online, wasn't sure if it was worth picking up... I know
in the letters pages, Sam Kieth says that it's the most faithful comic
adaption he's ever seen.

I also know there's an audio tape that can be listened to while reading the
first 3 issues, but I've never heard any of it. It's called "Maxx-imum Audio."

I actually dig Madman Comics as well... have every Madman issue I've gotten
my hands on, which is about all of them. The "G-Men From Hell"
mini-series-within-the-series was really good, and his Atomics project is almost a parody of
superheroes... though his current project, X-Statix with Marvel, would
probably be more closely described as such.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mike and Laura, some of the nicest people I've
ever met in comics...

You'll notice that when Frank Miller first took over writing, he was
basically just doing the same sort of tired stereotypical superhero writing the
previous writer had done... UNTIL he introduced Kingpin. Brilliance ensues. I also
dig the Batman: Dark Knight Returns TPB, and I'm slowly buying the six-issue
series Ronin, which is also quite good.

Watchmen is absolutely brilliant, one of the best comics I've ever read.

Oh, and I have to mention the Fantagraphics Krazy Kat collections... I love
those, perhaps too much.
