If it's the real thing, sure, i'll get it, if it's legit, but if it's not
legit, forget it. I get calvin and hobbes delivered to my email every day
and it's a pleasure. I get it from ucomics.com and I choose to get just
that one so it is free. If I were to subscribe to more, it would cost like
$9.99 per year or something like that. The owners of the comics get monies
from this and it is legit. You can even purchase merchandise through the
website, such as prints and stuff. Once in a while, when there's a clever
one, I ponder about purchasing that classic calvin and hobbes moment when
something awesome is happening. Hence, purchasing. If it wasn't the real
thing and the owners of the comics weren't getting compensated hence theft,
then no, it is not a good idea. I thing the key words here are compensation
and theft. Sure, if there were a real groo cd rom thingy, I would get it,
probably look at it a few times, and store it for when family visits and I
don't want them touching my original bagged groos. But no, I don't want
stolen merchandise. Last thing you want is groo knocking at your door with
a lawsuit like napster.
