[Groop] Groo On CD

Wow, you don't see too many people using the word sycophant (or variation
thereof) every day. In fact, I think this is the first time I've seen
someone use it - amazingly from a CPA??? I'm just kidding Gary. It's
amazing how rich the English language is and how little most people use it.
On this whole Groo on CD issue, the only thought that came to my mind after
a while was to scan my OWN copies for backup purposes. At one time I had my
comics on a shelf in my closet (much smaller collection then) in my mom's
basement when I was just out of high school. One day there was a problem
with the water line to the ice maker in the fridge and water came down into
the closet - luckily my Groos survived (this was 1987 or 1988, so there
wasn't as many then), but one of my E-Man's was full of water (luckily the
only one). The point someone else made about the TPBs having better color
as the originals have their color fading also helped associate the idea of
scanning my own issues for my own purposes (I would never sell my Groo
comics). Anyway, those are the ONLY reasons I could think of for having
Groo on CD for myself. Like others mentioned as well, I don't like reading
comics online - I love the smell of the ink and paper too much BUT, I do
like the comics that were specifically made for online reading as there is a
difference.
That's my 500 kopins worth (yes, my opinion costs more).

Hi Folks!
Well, I've been very quiet lately, but I thought I'd throw in my 2 kopins
worth on the subject.
It's really very simple. Whatever Sergio & Mark want to do, I'm in favor of
and will buy at least one or two of whatever it is. Whatever Sergio & Mark
don't want to do is also fine with me and I will bow to their wisdom and
desire even if it sounds like a good idea to me.
Mark is very savy about both new technologies and comics and Sergio is a
very smart man and both are very dedicated to their craft. So when they
decide they don't want to go in a particular direction for some reason that
is that as far I'm concerned.
Synchophantically yours -Gary G.
PS Also, I will never want to change over to reading books and comics on
the computer. It is very uncomfortable to have a computer sitting on your
chest while reading in bed, especially when it's not a lap top. (I can deal
with the monitor, but the tower is a real pain!)
