[Groop] To err is... well, pretty much inevitable.

Heh...
One province over, Gary (although there is a Bible College in my town... mind you, it sounds like your friends went to Briercrest Bible College in Caranport, Saskatchewan, rather than Prairie Bible Institute in Three Hills, Alberta).
Of course, Alberta and Saskatchewan share a fair number of similarities, other than the fact that Saskatchewan is considerably flatter and less susceptible to Groo-caused damage (owing to the fact that even Groo would be hard-pressed to phase people with winters like THAT, and that Groo is unlikely to even be able to FIND anyone there... pop. density is something like 2.7 people per square kilometer... or about a person and a third per square mile, if my Metric-to-Imperial conversion in my head at nearly one in the morning is correct).
And if the stupid fridge keeps acting up, I'll hitchhike to the blooming Con just to get away from it... Oh well. We'll see what next year brings.
David
P.S.- Well... for a good long while there, we didn't have hockey... sigh. Oh well. Proudly Canadian, as the saying goes.
P.P.S.- how much does a Con trip typically cost, anyways?

Now that it's fixed, I think you should sell it and use the proceeds to go to the Con next year. It would be worth it meet Sergio. I mean heck, you only need a fridge in Saskatchewan for what? 6 weeks out of the year? I have some friends who went to a Bible college there. That's what they said. Of course that was 30 years ago and maybe global warming has had an effect.
But I digress.
Anywho, you are a brave man to read all those scans. Feel free to skip the ones I write. I always do.
All kidding aside, Canada is absolutely gorgeous, plus you have hockey, curling, affordable health care, and Red Green.
Take care -Gary G.

Yup- I erred again.
Haven't had much time for e-mail lately (so no worries on driving me back into lurking, Glorko- just that inconvenient thing known as 'real life' getting in the way), so I blithely logged on and boggled at the 78 new messages from the Groop. I slogged through twenty or so, then gave up, stupidly figuring I could catch up later.
I logged on tonight, and boggled still further at the 102 (!) new messages from the groop. I decided, heck with it, I'm gonna get this done. I slogged through all 102 messages, and think that I've permanently damaged my brain. But I DID IT! Anyways, congrats to all the new parents, and I am hideously jealous of all of you that made it to the Con.
David
P.S.- oh, and my fridge is now fixed- it freezes everything solid now :p
