Hi Folks!
Well, I haven't had much to say lately, but you all knew your luck wouldn't
last forever, especially with San Diego coming up so soon.
Old business:
As far as I know only one Groop Membership Card was lost in the mail.
(Carlos! I am so bummed out! I can at least send you a couple generic
cards. It's not the same, but better than nothing!) If you did not get
your card, please let me know!
Groosagi Sudilovski!!! Are you still out there? I never received your
address!!! I have your card!
Even older business: I found a note to myself that Dan Bron never got his
deck of cards and maybe Zane didn't either. I still have 8 decks of cards
from last year that I can send to folks. So if you don't have a deck,
please let me know.
I will try real hard this year at San Diego to track down the Disabled
Services booklet from last year with Groo on the cover. There was a box of
them left at the end of the con. The woman in charge of the program never
returned my messages, but I'll see what I can do.
And if I said I would do something for you at the Con or in some other way,
PLEASE remind me because I have forgotten all about it!! (What did he mean
'Slow of Mind?'")
Other stuff:
I've been getting questions about the Groo Movie. I don't know anymore than
anyone else, which is whatever Mark has told us. The bottom line is that we
should all be aware that a zillion things could go wrong and kill it, but
until Mark tells us it's dead, I'm assuming that it's still going forward!
I've got the Official Unofficial Groo List updated for the firt time in a
while. If anyone wants a copy and/or anyone wants to post it on a web site,
just let me know. I always get questions about what is and what isn't on
it, which I am happy to answer. There are currently about 1200 "items."
Hope all is well with everyone. Take care -Gary G.
