I agree.
Having worked for Walt Disney Feature Animation for over 12 years, I feel
the ideal would be for Sergio's characters to be animated traditionally.
(Sergio has experience with 2-D animation during his work with "Bloopers and
Practical Jokes" for television). Mark mentioned that the project was
leaning towards a "Shrek"-style treatment. Although not impossible, it will
be difficult to successfully duplicate Sergio's unique style with computer
animation.
Of course, we all know that the story and the writing is the most vital
part - we can rest easy as long as Mark and Sergio have final approval . . .
