I don't recall buying jewelry from Marvel comics ads, but we may have  
done the next wackiest thing.

At some point during Elie and my engagement, we got around to talking  
about actually getting married, and inevitably the subject of wedding  
rings came up.  The closest thing to jewelry Elie wore was a  
wristwatch and the idea of a permanent jewelry fixture on his hand  
was not immediately appealing to him.  We came to the agreement that  
he would wear a wedding ring if he got to choose it, and he could  
pick anything he wanted.  Anything.  He picked the sterling silver  
Superman and Wonder Woman bands that, at the time, were sold at the  
Warner Brothers Studio Store.  We're going on six years now.
