[Groop] Speaking of hardcovers...

Perhaps someone could help me.  I bought the Groo
Chronicles Hardcover (the expensive edition) on ebay
and cannot seem to find it's number.  I know that
there were only 1500 produced, and thought that each
one would be numbered somewhere.  It doesn't appear on
the signature page...  Was I duped?
