Mine is numbered on the signature plate.

Not sure how you'd be duped though - unless there was an overprint and 
you've got one that has come out that way... often publisher do a few 
spare copies of limited edition just in case some pre-orders get lost 
in the mail, etc... It could be that those we kept by people who worked 
for publishers or distributors (or even the printers) and you've got 
one of them. I can't imagine it is worthwhile to produce counterfeit 
Groo... (Given how much ME always insists it isn't even [financially] 
worthwhile producing the real thing...)
