Those sound all like good ideas. What about a stand alone Groo-grams? 
Maybe a ~10 page groo-gram with a special groo-gram cover? With letters 
congratulating for the 25th anniversary of the one joke (I did not get 
the joke yet though). And maybe get a bit serous and have letters from 
other artists doing the same?  Just a thought.

If a big event is organized I might have to be one of the first to say 
that I will be not making it to the convention this year, and organizing 
the no-carpool to San Diego.  Actually I might be there (again) a week 
late, since I have a conference that is always a week after Comiccon!
